  • Wide Format

    Wide format printers and cutters in the DOC should be used for work where the following characteristics are required:

    • Prints larger than 12" x 18"
    • Color critical
    • True photographic quality
    • Archival properties or outdoor durability
    • Various paper substrate and finish options

  • ColorPress

    The ColorPress is a toner based print system, located in the DOC PreProduction room (room M114). CIA students can use as a self-service to send work to print on 8.5"x 11" or 12"x18" text weight or card weight papers stocked in the printer. Clear acetate sheets can also be purchased from on-duty DOC staff members and printed using in the multi-purpose tray. The ColorPress should be used for work where the following characteristics are required:

    • Large Quantity/Low Cost
    • Promotional/Short Term
    • 2-Sided
    • Book or Card Weight Media
