Visitors to the academic building must be sponsored by a current member of the CIA community and must register with the Campus Security staff upon arrival.  The visitor must be accompanied by the sponsoring member of the community at all times.  The visitor may not use any equipment or facilities while in the building.  Classroom visits must be cleared with the faculty member teaching the course at least 24 hours before the visit occurs.

Visitors to the residence halls must abide by regulations established by the Office of Student Life + Housing.  See the resident handbook for details.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, CIA will soon implement a policy whereby no visitors will be permitted in the academic or residential buildings until further notice.  Residential students have been informed that no one can be in a residence hall unless they live in that hall.  Regulations concerning access to the academic building by CIA students, faculty, and staff will be announced before the residential and academic buildings open for the fall semester.  No one will be permitted in any CIA building from now until the regulation is lifted without a face covering, with no exceptions.  Questions concerning this policy can be directed to the Chief of Public Safety.
