The Cleveland Institute of Art identification badges are an integral part of the College’s program to maintain a safe and secure campus. ID badges must be carried by employees at all times while on College property.
The College contracts with an outside security company to patrol and monitor building access. Employees are expected to promptly report any suspicious activity on campus to Security.
Each employee is responsible for the security of their keys and should immediately notify the Facilities Office if keys have been broken or lost. Each employee is responsible for the cost of replacing a lost key. Keys may not be copied. All keys, parking passes, and ID badges must be returned to HR upon termination of employment. Failure to return keys and/or other College property may result in a fine.
The Cleveland Institute of Art does not provide insurance for the loss or damage of personal property. Employees and students who bring in personal property do so at their own risk. Suspected thefts should be reported to the Security officer on duty.
Found articles should be turned into the Security Officer. We highly recommend that employees do not leave items of value unattended.
