The Registrar’s Office supports students, faculty, and staff by managing academic records, registration, course scheduling, and institutional policies related to academic progress. Whether you're registering for classes, requesting transcripts, or updating your student information, we’re here to help ensure a smooth academic experience.

 

📘 What We Do

We handle a range of academic and administrative services, including:

 

     Registration & Scheduling

  • Course Registration & Scheduling: Registration Instructions & Registration FAQs
  • Transient Form: Available for Fall, Spring and Summer semesters for students taking 3 or more credit hours as a guest student at a host institution. Email our office for more details. 
  • Cross-Registration Form: Available during the Fall and Spring semesters only for one course per semester at CWRU, CSU, JCU, CIM, or TRI-C. For more details, click here and scroll down to the Cross Registration section. 
  • Re-Enrollment: Processing of students returning from withdrawal to resume studies. 
  • Final Exam Schedule: Final exams and studio critiques take place on the same days and at the same times as all regularly scheduled semester courses, and are held in the same rooms.  

     Academic Records & Verification

  • Transcript Requests & Enrollment Verification: Official transcripts can be ordered online through Parchment. For enrollment verification requests, please email our office. 
  • Degree Audits & Graduation Processing: Graduation Application & Commencement Site
  • Transfer Credit Evaluation: Evaluation of transfer credits for CIA degree requirements. Official transcripts must be sent to the Registrar's Office. 
  • Academic Forms Processing: Review and processing of academic forms. 

     Student Services & Compliance

  • FERPA Compliance & Student Records Management 
  • Student Information Update: Email our office to update your legal name, chosen name, or mailing address in the student record system. 
  • Student ID Card Guidance: For lost or damaged ID, visit CWRU Access Services for a replacement ($25 fee). Afterward, return to CIA's Facilities Office (Suite 106) to reactivate building access. 
  • VA and Veteran Student Certification: Email our office for assistance with certification and benefits. 
  • Classroom Scheduling Support
  • Academic Calendar & Catalog Maintenance
