About CIA

The Cleveland Institute of Art is a private, nonprofit college of art and design that has been the training ground for students for more than 140 years. The college was originally opened as the Western Reserve School of Design for Women in 1882.

CIA students have gone on to design international products. Their artwork has been exhibited in major museums and private collections around the world. Audiences and gamers have enjoyed their entertainment media for generations.

About myCIA

myCIA is the Cleveland Institute of Art’s information portal.

After logging in students and faculty have access to view and manage their course information and resources.

Students, faculty, and staff may request to create and manage or join CIA campus groups on myCIA.

Continuing education students and young artists can sign up and pay for classes and other programs provided by the office of Continuing Education and Community Outreach.

 

Where is my information?

Content visibility is based on a user’s role.

Common roles which require a user account are Student, Staff, and Faculty.

Login Credentials consist of two parts.

  • Username: CIA email name (before the @)
  • Password: CIA email Password

 

Do you need help?

Fill out a support form and open a ticket.

Support tickets should be opened for non-Emergency needs involving:

  • Facilities
  • IT
  • Residence Halls
  • myCIA related questions or suggestions
